Monitor Calibration

The first step towards a colour managed imaging environment is to set up your monitor accurately. CRT monitors require recalibrating and profiling at least once a month, although LCD displays are more stable and less frequent calibration is needed.

We can calibrate and profile your monitor and advise on solutions for maintaining its accuracy in the long-term. In order to do this we need to visit your site.

Costs

Monitor calibration and associated advice costs £40 including 30 minutes traveling time.

Printer Profiling

Printer profiles provide a means of getting repeatable colour for your print that closely matches the rendition on your monitor. We recommend that you get us to make profiles for each of the two or three papers that you use for your best prints.

You do this by printing two or three test charts under controlled conditions and posting them to us. We then measure them and return the profiles, together with installation instructions and a test image via e-mail. Alternatively, the profile can be posted to you on CD at a small extra charge.

Costs

The cost is £30 for the first profile per order and £27.50 for additional profiles on the same order. Profiles posted on CD cost an extra £3.50 per order.
